Every year on the last Wednesday of February, people around the world join together to show their support for anti-bullying initiatives by wearing pink for Pink Shirt Day. This movement began in 2007 when two high school students in Nova Scotia, Canada took a stand against bullying by donning pink shirts in support of a fellow student who was being bullied for wearing a pink shirt to school.
